Tom Dumoulin overhauls Nairo Quintana to win Giro d'Italia in nail-biting final time trial

Dutchman takes victory by 31 seconds after dominant time trial performance - Jos Van Emden (LottoNL-Jumbo) wins final stage

Unfortunately for Quintana his ride wasn't up to Dumoulin's efforts as he missed the mark by 31 seconds. Dumoulin became the first ever Dutchman to win the Giro d'Italia, and in incredible fashion too.

Tom Dumoulin (Team Sunweb) produced a superb time trial on the final day of the Giro d'Italia to come from fourth place to win the race by 31 seconds from Nairo Quintana (Movistar).
